OK, I admit it, I like C&Cs. And I really like the 29. I have sailed hundreds of miles on this boat. It is a fast, solid and easy to sail boat. She has a a new North main, a new North 150 genoa, diesel engine, new Harken roller furling, wheel steering , new instruments and lots of other upgrades.
C & C does not skrimp on anything. The boat is well thought out and well executed. She will comfortably sleep six. This 29 has a roomy vee berth forward with the head next aft to port and a hanging locker to starboard. The salon is next with a centerline fold-down dining table and port and starboard settees. The port settee extends to form a second double berth. Next aft to port is the roomy quarterberth. The galley is to starboard of the companionway with a gimballed stove, large icebox and centerline SS sink. There is 6'1" headroom throughout the main salon.
The vee berth has a large overhead hatch, there is another in the main salon, and two opening ports give you lots of fresh air and ventilationis forward with a large overhead hatch for great ventilation. There are screens for the hatches and the companionway. The galley has hot and cold pressure water system and there is a lot of storage throughout the boat.
