"PROMISE" is a classic Alden designed Bristol 35 with gorgeous lines, built by the quality builder of Bristol Yachts. This fine vessel has been maintained in very good condition by all 3 of her knowledgeable owners. The previous (second) owner has made the following improvements: Awlgrip painted the hull, rebuilt the engine, added roller furling for headsail, replaced all interior fabrics, added electronics, and much more. She must be seen to be appreciated.

The current owner put brand new sails on her, new dodger, sail cover all out of matching beautiful dark blue Sunbrella.  They also put on a new ST6002 Autopilot, and a new VHF radio with DSC.

Interior is clean, light and open with accommodations for six.  All of the cushions throughout the boat have been recovered and are in excellent condition.

Double V-berth stateroom forward, with new comfortable cushions and a filler cushion.

Next aft is the head with the vanity and the head across, shower sump.  There is a privacy door on the head, and you can separate the vee from the rest of the boat.

The dinette on port, converts to a double berth, with a single settee berth opposite the dinette.  The sixth berth is a removable upper single pipe berth above the starboard settee.

The galley includes: stainless steel sink, large ice box, abundant counter space and storage. There is a 2 burner electric cookplate for cooking at dockside, and a propane stove for use at anchor or on a mooring.

Navigator's station with light, U-shaped dinette. Extensive storage includes: 44 interior lockers, 2 hanging lockers, 2 large cockpit lockers, lazarette locker, and an anchor chain locker forward.

Interior decor: beautiful mahogany interior joinerwork, 1993 blue fabric on cushions and throw pillows (excellent condition), white curtains, teak and holly cabin sole. Ventilation is provided by: 2 hatches, 1 opening port, and 2 dorade vents (all with screens).

Hull & Deck: Molded high-impact fiberglass reinforced polyester resin . . . largely woven roving, strongest material available. Hull and deck thicknesses vary to suit structural demands. Deckhouse, deck and cockpit are integrally molded. Deck clamp and cove stripe molded with hull. Non-skid pattern molded into deck, seat and cabin top. Two dorade vents are molded into the deck and cowls are provided. Hatch (forward stateroom) opens fore or aft. Teak is used for exterior trim and coamings.

Cockpit: Cockpit is self-bailing. Cockpit hatches (2) are scuppered to prevent leakage. Deck layout provides and extremely comfortable cockpit. all exterior trim is teak.

Deck Hardware: All deck hardware is stainless steel, chrome-plated bronze, or corrosion-resistant aluminum alloys. Main sheet traveler is mounted aft. Winch bases are molded . . . with teak coamings cut out under winch bases to provide winch handle stowage. Many items are custom-made to Bristol's own designs.
