Accommodations
From the moment you step on board, you recognize C&C quality. Famous for their sailing qualities and build, they never lose their appeal. And as you go below, the teak and holly floor, the new blue interior upholstery and the beautiful teak woodwork and cabinetry give you that warm, traditional feeling. The acrylic in the hatches and the side windows was all replaced in 2002, to add to the light, airy interior.
Immediately to the right of the companionway, is the nicely laid out U-shaped galley. The aft section has a small countertop over a set of drawers and a storage cabinet. Moving outward, the large, deep icebox with Adler Barbour refrigeration (new in 2007) is next. With a folding top, and a larger than normal freezer section, there is lots of accessible room. The two level interior has ridges and drains to keep the food in fresh condition. Moving forward is the 3-burner gimbaled stove with oven. The oven has a thermostat (a wonderful addition) and each burner has a set of braces to hold your pots when cooking underway. A solid wooden cutting board tops the stove, allowing you a level spot for assembling food under any sea conditions.
In the forward outboard corner of the galley is a large, deep storage area for all of those large galley items that are hard to find a place for.
Next around, and inboard, is the deep double S.S. sinks with hot and cold pressure water, and manual cold water. There is a plexiglass splash guard behind the sink and more cutting boards mounted on each sink. At the inboard end of the galley, a cupboard door tilts outward, and the trashcan is hidden yet so easy to use.
Moving forward next is the spacious and traditional salon. Designed with an L-shaped settee to port and a single settee to starboard. She has a centerline drop-leaf table with 2 storage sections in the center portion of the table. There is more storage behind the settees and in the cabinets lining both sides of the salon.
At the forward starboard end of the salon, is more built in storage.
Then we find the forward stateroom, with a spacious vee berth with removeable filler cushion. There is a solid privacy door, and a storage cabinet with a hanging locker for you or your guest. A teak shelf surrounds the berth for all of your books, glasses, etc.
Between the vee berth and salon, we find the fully enclosed head to port. There is hot and cold pressure water and a shower with sump, a molded sink and plenty of storage.
Aft of the salon and to port is the forward facing traditional style navigation station. With storage under the desktop, and a full set of drawers under the base, this is the electrical hub of the boat. There is also an cabinet built-in overhead for the mounting of any electronics.
Behind the navigation station is the quarterberth. This is a large single berth that functions as the seat for the nav station.
