1988 Catalina 36 Tall Rig

A great sailing boat with everything ready to sail happily for years to come.

Starting forward, the forward stateroom is a roomy vee berth with removable center cushions. The forward stateroom has a built in shelf in forward section of the vee.   There are reading lights on each side of the berth and a large opening overhead hatch for light and ventilation.

Moving aft, the head is to port, with built in storage across to starboard.   The head has hot and cold running water, manual head with holding tank, shower with separate sump, opening port ... and is roomy and light.

Next aft is the spacious salon. So typical of the living space that has made Catalina famous. With a wrap around U-shaped dinette to port.  To starboard is another Catalina innovation, with a single settee with a center section that can be easily converted to a small table with 2 seats.  The dinette converts into a double berth for additional guests.  Both sides are lined with cabinets with a small shelf on top of each, for additional easy to access storage. There are numerous opening ports, opening overhead hatches, lots of lights everywhere you need them, and lots of little extras.  With 6' 4" headroom, even taller people feel comfortable below.  The owner has a 10K btu portable air conditioner that will go with the boat.

Moving aft to starboard at the aft end of the settee is the nav station. Plenty of room for instruments and storage for what you need.

Across to starboard is the U-shaped gallery. . The galley features double centerline S.S. sink with a hot and cold pressure water, and manual fresh water pump.  There is a microwave and a two burner, gimbaled propane 2 burner Hillerange stove with oven.  She has a large icebox with Adler Barbour refrigeration.  There are drawers for storage and an additional cabinet along the outside wall.   Everything is accessible, and there is lots of storage.  She has a remote safety switch for the propane.

Aft of the nav station and to port is the aft stateroom. It is roomy and comfortable. With a nice settee as you enter, which provides a great place to read or dress. The berth extends under the cockpit with the lights, opening ports and ample headroom, it is a great place to sleep or just hang out.
