1976 Ericson 32 with 3 axle trailer

The Ericson 32 has always been renowned as a very comfortable boat, and a good sailing vessel. This boat has had the same owner since new. He custom ordered the boat as new. He also had the trailer customClick for larger view - Ericson 32 salonmade for the boat, and went out to California and drove it back to Wisconsin. The boat has always been on Lake Michigan in the summer and stored near their home in the winter. All original records are included. The trailer has brand new tires on it, ready for a trip to its new home.

He was an engineer, and took very good care of the boat, and really loved her.

It has a brand new sliding companionway hatch made this year. All of the exterior wood had been recently refinished and is in good condition.

Starting forward there is a vee berth forward, with a removable center cushion. The forward bulkhead has an optional opening door between the vee berth and the rest of the boat. There is an opening into the anchor locker from the berth. Shelves line both sides of the berth, and there is an overhead hatch. Easy access to the berth, and storage under the berth.

The head is next to port. It is a manual head with a holding tank. There is a sink with hot and cold pressure water. The head is roomy and comfortable.

The salon is next. The woodwork around the salon, and throughout the boat, is in great condition, and gives an elegant feel to the boat. Along the port side of the salon is a dinette. It is designed with a folding table. Half of the table stays up, and the center (of the boat) leaf folds. With this arrangement, you can have a "permanent" dinette, without blocking the passageway, yet seat a crowd if you need to. The dinette also converts to a double berth for guests. The settee to starboard, also is a single berth, with a hidden extension into the hanging locker to make a full length berth. This is something common on Ericsons.

The L-shaped galley is to starboard at the base of the companionway. It features a 3 burner gimballed CNG stove, stainless steel sink, hot and cold pressure water and a roomy icebox. The Atomic4 engine is under the companionway stairs.

All of the instruments pods in the cockpit were custom made by the original owner of the boat. The owner kept good care, and upgraded the boat it's entire life.

Special boat trailer 6-wheeler with electric brakes w/sway control. (need to tow with at least 3/4 ton vehicle truck) This trailer was custom made for this boat when new. The boat was towed from California (the factory) to Illinois when new with a Suburban.

This boat is a must see for anyone looking for a very good deal, and it is so hard to find a nice sized boat with a trailer.
