1985 Legend Hunter 40

A great liveaboard layout with two private staterooms and two heads. The master stateroom is aft with a large centerline island double bed.  There are two large hanging lockers and lots of other storage for the necessities of of life.  There is private access to the head with shower and great ventilation.

As you move forward, the aft head is to port of the companionway and the walk through galley is to starboard.  There is a built-in refrigerator with freezer in the bulk head, a large icebox, a 4 burner gimbaled natural gas stove with oven, a built-in microwave, double stainless steel sink, and hot and cold pressure water.

Next forward to port is the aft facing nav station with plenty of space for all the electronics.  This location at the base of the companionway makes most of the displays and controls very accessible from the cockpit.

The main salon features a huge wrap around dining area to starboard and a settee to port.  The dinette easily converts into a spacious double berth.  There is a teak and holly cabin sole, white walls with hardwood trim, giving the the cabin an open yet traditional feeling.   The forward cabin is a guest stateroom with a private head with shower, private hanging locker and plenty of room to dress and read in privacy.

Helm stateion supports autopilot with separate teak pod for  depth, knowmeter and wind instruments.

12 volt and 110 volt systems, with automatic battery charger, two shore power cables, fore and aft shorepower inlet boxes for shorepower, two new batteries in a two battery bank with parallel switch.

Inboard 47 hp Yanmar diesel, fresh water cooled, fuel filters, engine alarm, bilge blower, fuel shut off valve for engine, 4 fire extinguishers, automatic bilge pump, manual bilge pump, two separate shower sumps, deep bilge pump, solar vent.  Great access to engine with removable panels on all four sides.
