1985 Laser 28 w/Trailer and diesel

Laser 28, Hull #117, Bloodlines. The Laser 28 is a well known Bruce Farr design, built by Performance Sailcraft. . A great boat since it can also be trailered, and sailed or raced anywhere easily. The boat is fun and fast, yet offers decent accommodations below deck.

Comfortable interior with unique storage "hangings" all along the hull sides. Hull and deck are constructed of kevlar composite for strength and speed. Bloodlines is a proven race winner in Milwaukee Bay and nearby regattas.

Many recent upgrades include standing rigging, backstay, life lines, rope clutches, headsail halyards, headsail sheets, VHF radio, and marine stereo.

All running rigging is in good to excellent condition. Previous owner had the topsides painted, the bottom faired, and the interior cushions recovered. Sails include Ullman racing main, delivery main, #1 (laminate) headsail, #1 (laminate) light air headsail, lapper (Dacron) headsail, #3 (Dacron) headsail, storm headsail, (2) Ullman racing spinnakers, (1) practice spinnaker. Trailer included with sale of boat.

This boat is a very fast, fun racer/cruiser. As you enter the boat and go below, The simple, yet functional galley module is first on the port side. Then as you move forward, there is a single settee along the port side. Across to starboard is the face to face dinette, which can also be changed to another berth. Both sides of hull in the salon, are lined with custom canvas storage, with lots of compartments and bags .

Forward is a vee berth with an overhead hatch for light and ventilation. The vee berth also has storage "hangings" along both side.\

Aft of the dinette on the starboard side is the fully enclosed head. There is a quarterberth across on the port side, tuck behind the galley, again with more of the hanging storage.

The interior is open, comfortable and has great head room.

This is a perfect dual purpose boat. It was originally in Kansas, until it was brought to Milwaukee. Very good condition. There are built in lifting points in the bilge for lifting the boat in and out of the water, and onto to the trailer.
