This quality built boat offers a traditional teak interior with built in leaded glass cabinets, at teak and holly sole ... with a roomy interior. All in a boat that sails well. Large enough for Lake Michigan and entertaining and small enough to single hand. Lots of opening ports make this a very light and airy interior.
Starting forward, she has a roomy vee berth with a large filler cushion. This allows you to comfortably sleep either a couple or two singles. There is a shelf all around the perimeter for your "stuff" .. like your books and glasses. There is a private entrance to the head, a large overhead hatch and two opening ports for lots of light and ventilation. With two built in reading lights, 110V outlets on each side, and a large hanging locker this is a very comfortable space. Underneath are two large dry lockers for storage.
Next aft to port is the large head with two opening ports, an opening overhead hatch, great standing headroom with a large shower area, shower sump, nice vanity with storage, mirrored doors and lots of storage with a large locker and cabinets. Hot and cold pressure water and a large holding tank.
The salon features an dining area to port with an L-shaped settee and a single settee to starboard. The drop leaf dining table folds up against the forward bulk head when not in use and conceals a built in teak storage rack for all your cups, plates and other needs. When in use the generously sized leaf extends across the salon allowing you to comfortably seat 6 or more for dinner or snacks. The dinette also converts easily into a double berth.
There are built in shelf and cabinets above, behind and below both settees for storage, as well as another locker and cabinet in the forward end of the port side. You will love the easy access storage on this boat.
At the base of the companionway to port is the uniquely designed aft facing nav station. The nav table itself slides out of way under the cockpit when not in use allowing free access to the quarterberth. When in use, it slide out and locks in place for a traditional roomy nav station with storage for your charts and room for your instruments.
Across to starboard is also the U-shaped galley,
featuring leaded glass storage cabinets and a butcher block counter with
tons of space. There is generous work space on three sides, a teak
wine glass storage area, a 2 burner alcohol stove, built-in microwave,
Norcold 12V/110V refrigeration in a large icebox and a built-in trash chute
into the lazarette. She has a deep double S.S. sink with hot and
cold pressure water.

Electronics
Autohelm 4000 autopilot, Uniden VHF radio, Signet
speedo, depth sound and water temperature, log, apparent wind direction
and speed. All mounted on the pedestal. 5 1/2 inch Galaxy compass
also on the pedestal for great viewing.
Sails and Rigging
All lines are led aft to the cockpit for ease
of handling. She has a mainsail equipped with a Dutchman system and
a 150 genoa, a Hood 805 LD roller furler, self tailing winch and 2 standard
winches on the cabintop for line handling, 6 sheet stoppers on the cabin
top. Mainsail has two reefs with the Harken single line reefing system,
both led aft to the cockpit through the rope clutches. Sail cover
and matching wheel cover. Boomvang, 2 wire/rope halyards led aft,
1 spare rope halyard also led aft, 4 part Lewmar traveler on the cabin
top. 4 part boom vang and a 3-1 adjustable backstay. The cockpit
has to Lewmar 30ST self tailing winches for primary winches within easy
reach of the helmsman.
The aluminum mast and boom are painted white.
Deck and Hull
Dock lines, fenders, 22# Bruce anchor with chain
and nylon rode, Flare Kit, cockpit awning, Anchor roller and anchor locker
on the foredeck, wheel steering, custom companionway roll up with window
and screen, varnished teak drink holder, bow pulpit and stern pulpit, swim
ladder, cockpit cushions, emergency tiller (full size wood laminate, easy
to use).
Epoxy barrier coat factory applied. High
performance prop. 4" cowl vent.
Engine and Mechanical
Inboard FWC Diesel, with fuel filter, automatic
and manual bilge pumps, Dahl fuel and water seperating filter.
2 100 amp deep cycle batteries with switch, 12 volt and 110 volt sytems, 50' 30 amp shore power cable, 30 amp automatic battery Charger, built in volt meter.
Additional
This is a very lightly used, fresh water only
boat. The current owner is just too busy to sail. You can take
advantage of his schedule.
