  If you are one of those people waiting for the chance to "steal" a boat .... this is your chance...  Do NOT delay. One of the most popular boats that Searay has ever built, this fresh Water only Searay 44 Sundancer is in very good condition.  The current owner has been unable to use it and is ready for it to go to a new home.  The well laid out interior is bright and spacious. . This is only the second owner of this well maintained vessel. 

The bright and airy forward stateroom features a generous vee berth with private access to the head.  The custom fitted cushion covers and matching shams are in excellent condition.  There is a nice shelf all around the edge of the berth for all those little things that make you comfortable including your glasses, books, etc.    This stateroom has its own A/C with private digital controls for maximum comfort.   A built in television give you the option of watching and relaxing in private comfort.  The berth has 3 large drawers and a cabinets built in under the berth for easily accessible storage and more storage further forward under the berth for long term storage. To starboard of the berth is a handy settee for dressing with a hanging locker behind the mirrored doors.    There is a large overhead hatch, overhead lights and reading lights for a bright, very useable space.

Next aft to port is a wonderful head with a Vacu-flush head and a shower with sump.  There is private access from the forward stateroom and access from the salon for your guests.

The salon is next and features a large and comfortable settee that wraps around the dinette along the starboard side.   The side is lined with ports (with mini blinds and curtains) and a large overhead hatch make this a bright and airy space.  There are storage cabinets built in above the settee and more storage under the cushions.  A great place to entertain with a FM/AM stereo component stereo with a VHS player and speakers throughout the salon.  There are reading lights mounted in all the convenient places and more subtle "mood lighting" for quieter evenings on board.  There is also a built in Panasonic TV and VCR in the salon.  She has a built-in central vacuum system to make cleaning up a breeze.  She also has snap-in carpet protectors for the salon and the steps to the cockpit.

The  galley is located on the port side of the salon.  It is large, spacious and bright with tons of easily to organize storage.  At the forward end is a built in cabinet with storage for your liquor and glasses.  Next aft is the large Norcold refrigerator with top freezer.  Plenty of food storage for all of your family and friends.  She has a 3 burner Kenyon electric stove, built-in coffee maker, can opener and blender.  With a large size Panasonic microwave built-in also, you can easily cook anything for friends or family.

Moving aft we have the mid cabin.  A spacious alcove off the salon featuring a U-shaped settee that wraps around 3 sides of the space with a small table in the middle for snacks, reading or games..  A great place for the kids (or adults) to have a moment for themselves or to sleep additional guests.

The Cockpit ......
The helm features a comfortable and secure adjustable helm seat with great visibility and easy access to all of the instruments and nav gear.  There is a large bench seat across the front that will seat 4 guests easily.

The entertainment center of the this boat is really the cockpit.   With an L-shaped settee across the front  and another setter across the transom, you can easily entertain 8 - 10 just in the cockpit.  There is a wet bar with an ice maker built-in on the port side of the cockpit and a removable cockpit carpet for access to the engines and machinery spaces.

The walk through transom allows easy boarding and great access to the swim platform.

Electronics
The helm has a Raytheon R21X 4kw radar, Robertson AP200DL autopilot, Garmin GPSmap 225 color plotter (new in 2000), Raytheon ST 60 depth and speed,  Sony AM/FM cassette at the helm with cockpit speakers, 2 windshield wipers with controls, hydraulic steering and a full complement of engine gauges.  The center window opens remotely for great cockpit ventilation at speed.

Deck and Hull
The cockpit has a full camper top made by Boat Tailors new in 1998.  It features Boat Tailors patented cantilevered design that gives great access to the cockpit without support bars everywhere.  It has roll up windows with screens all the way around the rear.  A very well fitted sleek and elegant top in good condition.

On the foredeck is a Good Automatic electric windlass with approx. 200 feet of rode.  It is totally controlled by a switch on the helm allowing you to either raise or lower the anchor from the helm.  She also has a Rayline 8" remote controlled searchlight.  Fender racks on both sides of the bow give the option of carrying enough good size fenders to make docking in strange place easy and safe.

The boat comes with a removable set of St. Croix manual davits installed on the swim platform.  Installed by Palmer Johnson with huge backing plates, it makes carrying your dinghy safe and easy.

The whole hull, topsides and deck has just been buffed and waxed.  The bottom has just been painted.  The boat is ready to be dropped into the water.

The factory sunpads are like new.  Never used and stored off the boat. Included are all of the fenders, lines, U.S.C.G. safety package .... everything you need to go now.
 

Electrical
Westerbeke 7kw generator with very low hours, automatic battery charger,  5 battery system with parallel switch, automatic bilge pumps.   50' shore power cable.  12 volt DC and 110 volt AC ship systems

Engine and Mechanical
Twin 300 hp FWC Cummins 6BTA inboard diesels with with only 482 fresh water hours, 7kw Westerbeke diesel generator, 2 reverse cycle air/heat units with separate digital controls in each cabin, approx. 400 gal fuel capacity, fuel filters, Walker Fuel Seps on both main engines, AlgaeX on main engines and the genset, PSS dripless shaft couplings (new in 2000), cable TV and telephone hookups, 3 manual/automatic bilge pumps with high water alarm, sump pump system for the shower, 2 blowers, 12V and 110V lighting,  100 gallons of water, engine alarms, engine emergency stop, Vacu-flush head with holding tank, built in oil change system set up for both main engines and the generator, automatic Halon fire extinguishing system.  The built-in analog cellular phone system with limo option and a 4' antenna on the arch, gives coverage over 90% of the Lake with phones in the salon and at the helm.

The engines had all hose and belts replaces in 2001.  Two new starters in 2002, new prop in 2000.

Additional
The six storage stands are included with the sale of the boat.  Store anywhere you want without worrying about moving a cradle or renting stands again.  Owner has ALL records and manuals for the boat and her gear.
