1973 Allied Mistress 39 One of the world's favorite
cruising boats. This fine boat has spent her entire life in fresh
water until December 1996 She was completely outfitted for extended
cruising by her professional yacht broker owner. His plans have now
changed and she is seriously for sale. She is out of the water in
Green Turtle Cay in the Abacos, Bahamas. This well built, center
cockpit cruiser offers a great layout with an engine room, work bench and
two private staterooms and two heads with showers. The master stateroom
is aft with access either from the main salon through a walkway or directly
from the cockpit. There is a private head, lots of storage, a large
hanging locker, enough space to comfortably dress in private and a huge
sleeping area that completely spans the width of the boat.
Coming forward along the passageway to the main cabin, to starboard there is a work bench, wet locker and the navigation station. To port is the entrance to the engine and machinery space. There is plenty of room to work on everything.
The main salon is a bright and airy space with access to the cockpit through the main companionway. The huge U- shaped dinette to port wraps around a dropleaf dinette table. The dinette also makes into another double berth for guests. The galley is to starboard with Adler Barbour refrigeration and Force Ten burner propane stove. The refrigeration and the Force Ten stove with the aluminum tank were both installed in 1996.
