1990 Beneteau First 41s5
A rare fresh water cruiser/racer. The boat features the amazing interior design of Philippe Starck. She has two private staterooms and two heads. This extra clean boat is ready to sail away. This design handles well under any conditions and is a joy to sail. Beneteau seems to have taught the rest of the boating world how to make auser friendly interior. The forward stateroom has a large vee-berth with lots of storage and hanging locker. There is a private head to port and an in-suite vanity to starboard. There is great ventilation and a custom carpet protector over the beautiful teak flooring.
The salon features a huge semi-circular dinette to port with a centerline drop-leaf dining table. Table includes wine storage. There is a large settee to starboard. All the cushions are covered with machine washable fabric for easy care and livability.
The nav station (at the starboard aft corner of the salon) has a very secure pivoting navigator’s chair with plenty of room for all controls and electronics. Next aft to starboard is the head with two entrances. One entrance allows for private entry from the aft stateroom and the other from the main salon. The aft stateroom has a huge berth with plenty of storage. There are many opening ports and port lights for great light and ventilation.
The L-shaped galley is aft to starboard deep double stainless steel centerline sinks, gimbaled 3 burner propane stove with oven, a huge refrigerator with freezer, roll out galley storage bin and lots of counter space. There is lots of storage throughout the boat. She has hot and cold pressure water and a manual water system.
