1994 Beneteau Oceanis 440
Sold - call for new listing of similar boat
New to the market. A rare fresh water, one owner cruiser. Loaded with extras (generator!), this extra clean boat is ready to sail away. This Bruce Farr design handles well under any conditions and is a joy to sail.
Beneteau seems to have taught the rest of the boating world how to make a user friendly interior. The forward stateroom has an island centerline "queen" size berth that is 7' long. There is a settee to port giving a great place to sit and get dressed or read.. The private head (with shower) is next aft and and to starboard of the berth with a huge hanging locker across to port. There is lots of storage, great ventilation and a custom carpet protector over the beautiful teak flooring.
The salon features a huge U-shaped settee to starboard with a dining table that converts easily into another huge double berth. The dinette also has an "island" settee amidships which provides both extra storage and access to the water system pumps and manifolds. There two individual seats on port in front of the nav station which both recline (!) for the most comfortable seating imaginable. There is a small table in-between these two seats for games or entertaining.
The nav station (at the aft corner of the salon has lots room for all controls and electronics. Next aft to port is the guest head with two entrances. One entrance allows for private entry from the aft stateroom and the other from the main salon. The aft stateroom has a huge quarterberth style bed with plenty of storage. There are two opening ports, an opening hatch and several ports for great light and ventilation.
The L-shaped galley is aft to port with double S.S. centerline sinks, gimbaled 3 burner propane stove with oven, a huge refrigerator, a separate top loading deep freeze and lots of counter space. There is also another drained storage/ icebox/dish drainer built into the countertop. There is lots of storage throughout the boat. She has hot and cold pressure water and a manual water system.
