1990 Nonsuch 33
Belying her compact
overall length, Consensus features a remakablyspacious and well-planned
interior that would be at home in most 40-foot cruising boats. The generous
forward stateroom includes a pullman-style double berth to port, a particularly
large hanging locker, excellent general storage, as well as private access
to the head through the separate shower stall. The main salon has a large
U-shaped dinette to port, centerline drop-leaf teak dining table,
starboard settee and primary entrance to the head. Next aft, at the
head of a huge double quarterberth, is the
navigator's station, complete with electrical panels and navigation
electronics. The well-conceived U-shaped galley is opposite. Light and
ventilation in this bright, open interior are excellent, courtesy of eight
aluminum-framed Bomar opening ports (with accordion-style blinds) and three
Bomar deck hatches (two with roller privacy blinds).

The Nonsuch 33 was designed as an intermediate model to slot between the popular Nonsuch 30 and 36. As the newest Nonsuch design, she represents lessons learned over years of honing the Nonsuch concept: her traditional looks are augmented by a throughly-modern fin keel underbody and unstayed cat rig utilizing a single working sail, resulting in surprising performance and unsurpassed ease of handling. Consensus is an impeccably-maintained example of the Nonsuch 33, with many custom touches initiated by knowledgeable owners, resulting in a truly rare opportunity
