1991 Nonsuch 30 Ultra
New to the market. A rare fresh water, second owner cruiser/racer ! The current owner just purchased a huge UK Kevlar Batt Main!. One of the last 30's built and loaded with extra features that only the newer Nonsuch design can boast. This extra clean boat is ready to sail away.
This boat was purchased new in 1993 and much care has been lavished on it. She has many upgrades including S.S. 86 gallon water tanks, vinylester "skinning" coats, solid fiberglass mast step, all through deck fittings are set in solid fiberglass, all halyards and control line led aft to cockpit, extra large shower sump strainers, teak toe rails eliminated for ease of maintenance, all blocks on deck and spar upgraded to aluminum sheaves, anodized aluminum propane tanks (a second optional tank has been installed). To the best of the owner's knowledge only two more 30's were built with these upgrades before the end of this beautiful line.
The Ultra interior features a double berth to port in the forward stateroom. There is a huge hanging locker and a bureau with mirror. There are several ports and a huge hatch for lots of light and ventilation. She has a private entrance into the head from the forward stateroom and a second entrance from the head to the main cabin. The head also has a separate shower stall and features a WC "Imperial" commode.
Next aft to port is the L-shaped galley with a two burner gimballed Force 10 stove with oven, a very large icebox, deep stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressure water and a manual sea water pump. The main salon features a huge L-shaped settee aft to starboard with a dining table that folds to convert easily into another huge double berth, or extends to the port settee for lavish entertaining. The salon is huge, with the space of most 35 foot sailboats.
