Perception features a traditional two-cabin interior plan designed round the living needs of a couple and their occassional guests. A private cabin forward features a large double vee berth, hanging locker and miscellaneous storage in drawers, lockers, and beneath the berth. Next aft to port is a large hanging locker and more storage, with the head opposite: unusual in this style of design, the head includes a separate shower stall. Aft of the bulkhead is the main cabin, including settees port and starboard (both pull out to form comfortable single berths), a starboard-side pilot berth and a bulkhead-mounted drop-leaf dining table. Storage is excellent, with bookshelves, lockers and space behind the backrests.
The large, U-shaped galley follows to port, with
the outboard-facing nav station opposite. Note also the following features:
two Bomar deck hatches with aluminum-framed screens; three cast-aluminum
opening ports with screens (new hatch Lexan '98, aluminum-framed Bomar
screens new '99); four cast-aluminum fixed ports (all ports fitted with
safety-glass windows); curtains; carpeting (new '99) over low-maintenance
fiberglass
cabin sole; new cushions '98; custom single-piece
vee berth cushion with an additional shelf below; new brass reading lamps
throughout '96; new stainless red/white dome lamps throughout '96; ultra-low-draw
LED courtesy night lighting added '99.
Three-burner Kenyon Homestrand alcohol stove with
oven; huge, well-insulated icebox with
interior shelf; stainless sink; new galley faucet

freshwater pump; well-utilized storage space
in outboard lockers, lockers beneath the counter
and sink and in an overhead dish and cup rack.
