The traditional interior is beautifully finished with mahogany and a teak and holly cabin sole. The forward cabin is a vee berth arrangement with filler. The head with shower is located next aft to port with a hanging locker and drawer opposite to starboard.
The main salon has an L-shaped dinette to port which converts to a double. There is storage and shelves behind and above the settee. The dining table fold up against the forward bulkhead and extends to easily seat five or six. On the port side there is a settee with a pilot berth above. Aft and to port is the nav station with a large quarterberth behind it.
The U-shaped galley is to starboard at the base of the companionway. She has double S.S. sink, alcohol stove, hot and cold pressure water and a large icebox. The Adler Barbour refrigeration needs a new compressor.
Rigged to carry a staysail with a quick release HiField lever.
Has double inboard genoa track, Hood double foil on headstay, oversize
roller bearing traveler and oversize spinnaker pole (from a Tartan 41).
Electronics
TI loran, 2 depth sounder and 5" compass.
Deck and Hull
Dodger, 2 anchors, bow pulpit, side stanchions with double lifelines,
stern pulpit, swim ladder, fiberglass deck, fiberglass deck, fenders and
lines, lifejackets, life ring, navigation lights, spreader lights, white
hull, cradle. All port were replaced by the Tartan factory in 1987.
The interior and the cabin sole were also replaced at the same time.
Electrical
12V and 110V systems, two batteries with parallel switch, automatic
battery charger, dockside electrical cables.
Engine and Mechanical
Inboard 40 hp Westerbeke 4-107 diesel, fresh water cooled, fuel filters,
engine alarm and emergency stop, engine and stove fuel shut off valves,
100 hours since major overhaul including new fuel pump in May of 1993,
bilge blowers, bilge pumps, manual head with holding tank.
