New to the market. A rare fresh water, one owner cruiser/racer. Loaded with extras this extra clean boat is ready to sail away. This design handles well under any conditions and is a joy to sail.
X-Yachts are make with the beautiful craftsmanship and high performance long famous from the Scandinavian countries. A comfortable interior with excellent woodwork. All of the interior cabin sides are lined with hand cut mahogany. The cabin sole is teak. Headliner is soft white vinyl. All cushions are a soft blue textured wool and in excellent condition.
The salon features a huge L-shaped settee to port with a centerline dining table with fold down leaves. There is another settee to starboard. The vee berth forward sleeps two comfortably and has two large hanging lockers for gear. The aft stateroom is a very large quarterberth with ample room for two and their gear.
The L-shaped galley is aft and to port. There is a double S.S. sink, a gimballed 3 burner propane stove with oven and great countertop space. There is plenty of icebox space to cruise or race. Across from the galley at the base of the companionway is the forward facing nav station. The very roomy head with shower is aft to starboard behind the nav station. There is great light and ventilation, plus lots of storage.

The rudder blade is handlaid and Kevlar reinforced. Semi-eliptical keel of cast iron and lead. The keel has been stripped of its gelcoat and faired to the design specifications with templates. The rudder has also been faired to its design specifications. Hull to deck jointis joined with fiberglass binder and assembled with through fitted stainless steel bolts via the toe rail. Large manual bilge pump in cockpit. Tiller steering.
All new side windows were installed in 1994. Screens were made for all ports and hatches. A new companionway screen was ordered in 1999. The hull was compounded in 1997. Double lifelines, nav lights, anchor with chain and rode, fenders and lines, 6 gallon hot water tank, 35 gallons of fresh water with hot and cold pressure water to head, shower and galley.
Sails and Rigging
Fractional rig stepped on the keel. The custom designed aluminum
mast has two sets of spreaders, tapered mast top, inside tightening and
a tube for later ez-installed to the mast top. The boom is a modern profile
design and has two internal reefs, one internal flattening reef and an
internal outhaul. All are led aft to the cockpit. There is
a rod mechanical boom vang which doubles as a topping lift. She has
a spinnaker pole. Halyards are 1 main halyard (Spectra), 2 jib halyards
(Kevlar), 2 spinnaker halyards (Kevlar) and 1 topping lift wire. All
halyards have been replaced with new, lightweight, non-stretch materials
and additional locking cleats have been installed. There is a permanent
backstay, running backs and checkstays.
A mainsail luff tensioner has been installed for the new racing mainsail
(with an oversized roach) at the base of the mast. A fine tuning
main sheet extension has been installed and has access from both sides
of the cockpit. Track and car for spinnaker pole. Spin pole downhaul
led back to cockpit on both sides. All halyards, vang, outhaul, cunningham,
and reeflines are led back to the cockpit. Rigging is S.S. rod rigging
and is bolted to the aluminum frame of the boat. There are main,
running and check stays bolted to the transom and all are adjustable.
The headfoil was replaced 4 years ago with a 2 track racing foil with split
drum Harken furler. New blocks have been installed for the
traveler.

raw water filter, water separating fuel filter, 30mm drive shaft with Gori
folding prop, 15 gal. S.S. fuel tank, 12V dual bank battery system, 110V
